These access points enable you to build an indoor or outdoor network or extend an existing network. All connected clients connected via wireless or cable, are part of this network.
These access points network consists of:

All access points come ready assembled and configured so that you can easily setup a network with 3 wireless access points. You could for example supply a camping site of around 800x200m with these preconfigered access points.
Optimal bandwidth can be achieved by connecting the centre access point (No.2) to the Internet router via cable. You can though also connect access points 1 and 3 to the router. Each access point is supplied with power via the supplied 20m Cat5e cable and adapter. The network can be easily extended. Optimal data throughput is achieved by connecting further units to access point No2, which is connected to the router.
After installation you can change the following settings:
- Web access data, password, eventually username, IP, SSID
- Change country (delivery setting is Germany) if needed
- Change channel/frequency in range 2412 - 2462 MHz (delivery setting is 11/2462Mhz).
All access points must have the same channel.
- After alignment the transmit power level (delivery setting is 20dBm) must be reduced at access
points 1 and 3 to 12 dBm and access points No 2 to 10dBm.
Transmit power levels and frequency ranges for wireless networks on 2.4Ghz are uniformly set across Europe. Therefore, in accordance with legislation, you should adjust power levels so that your transmit power plus antenna gain achieve a maximum 20dBm, which corrresponds to 100mW (e.g. 12 dBm plus 8dBm antenna gain = 20dBm).
To assist easy alignment of the antenna, 4-LED's are provided of which 3 out of 4 should light up. You also have the facility to monitor the step less signal strength through the web interface.
