This access point together with
Hotspot
Server gives you as the customer many advantages, which are described below.
Every access point features an public network (Hotspot) and a private network (LAN). Customers and guests connect with the Hotspot network and as soon as they wish to surf the internet, they will receive a welcome/login page, so they can login typping their username and password.
Clients can only connect to the private network (LAN) of the access point if they own the WPA key (employee). As soon as the client connect with access point they can then access the internet and exchange data with other LAN clients.

Bandwidths up to 78 Mbit net (TCP-throughput) can be achieved wirelessly or per cable with this access point.
The Access Points are installed with DD-WRT software and come pre-configured.
DD-WRT
software offers you stability and many other professional functions.
All devices that we deliver are pre-configured for network operation. This means that the access points have a unique IP and MAC address (prerequisites for network operation). Customers will receive a setup guide from us as well as all the necessary access data in case that you wish to change the default configuration.
You can deploy multiple devices in a single building. See below for an example of a three floor building with 2 Access Points on each floor.

To save on cabling costs you can use the 5-Port switch to extend Cat5 cable, as shown in the graphic. If a network client does not have a suitable WLAN device attached, they can be connected to next access point via cable using either the LAN or Hotspot port.
If you use a single cable for each access point then you can also power the device over ethernet cable (PoE). For these access points are optionally following products available:

All access points are pre-configured and labelled so that you only have to position and connect up the units.
The following configurations can be optionally pre-configured for you as required (send the following infos via email or when ordering):
Username, Password, WPA_Key, IP-Address, Public_SSID_Name, Private_SSID_Name, Hide_Private_SSID ...
This service costs a flat rate fee of €120 net per order independent of the number of units required.
All settings supplied from us are hard programmed into the firmware.
If you perform a hardware reset on these broadcom access points, the preconfigured data including your presettings will be restored (delivery configuration).
