This access point includes a 6dBi omni antenna directly connected
(no cable loss) with beamwidth: horisontal 360° / vertical 25°
Access points come pre-configured as follows, however these data can be changed.
- Web access data, password, eventually username, IP, SSID
- Change country (delivery setting is Germany) if needed
- Change channel/frequency in range 2412 - 2462 MHz (delivery setting is 11/2462Mhz)
- After alignment the transmit power level (delivery setting is 27dBm) must be reduced to 14 dBm
- Nach der Ausrichtung müssen Sie die Sendeleistung (bei der Auslieferung 27dBm) auf 14 dBm reduzieren.
Transmit power levels and frequency ranges for wireless networks on 2.4Ghz are uniformly set across Europe. Therefore, in accordance with legislation, you should adjust power levels so that your transmit power plus antenna gain achieve a maximum 20dBm, which corrresponds to 100mW
(e.g. 12 dBm plus 8dBm antenna gain = 20dBm).
The following configurations can be optionally pre-configured for you as required (send the following infos via email or when ordering):
Username, Password, IP-Address, SSID_Name
. This optional service costs a flat rate fee of €32 per order independent of the number of units.
If you perform a hardware reset on this access point, the preconfigured data
including your presettings will be lost!
