With the wlan bridge, one marks the wireless connection between bridge (with several cable-bound IP devices) and the access point. With bridge mode you can extend your net at will with little loss of bandwidth.
This is to realize that with alternative firmware, which are developed for this device for years. Please consider, if you are not using original Linksys firmware you cannot expect, a manufacturer support.
